Last night, we went to a restaurant called Beaches. It was oober fancy, not what we expected. Other guests were a lot more dressed up than us, we felt kinda out of our league! When they brought the food, it reminded me of Top Chef. Our server said their chef was pretty well known, I guess. I didn't care for my meal to much, Danny's was better, and the dessert was the best of the meal, but I've had better. We also visited the Cooberrie Park Wildlife sanctuary. Today, we went to 2 beaches, the main Yeppoon Beach where there was a "designated" swimming area with lifeguards, it was pretty busy, and Kemp beach, where there was a few people, but not as busy. The bottom Picture on the last post is the view from our hotel in LA on our way over. The plane is the one we took from LA to Fiji.

So what did you really eat for dinner? McDonald's? Tonya, you look so happy to be holding a koala bear. How exciting!
Love, mdh
Should've went with the kabobs.....
We ate the desert for dinner, I had some chips and salsa, we had kabobs yesterday, they were good!
Hi Tonya and Danny! Hopefully I have filled things out right so I can visit with you as well. The pictures look amazing - how did you already get to hold a koala? Your mom has also been giving me updates, Tonya. She is too funny when the computer "goes off". Our vocabulary word the other day was voyage - as you were flying, so you have become part of reading class. Hope you are having a LOT of fun - can't wait to see more pictures!
Love,
SC
